The Academy of Homiletics was founded in 1965, and now has a membership of nearly 400, spanning every corner of the globe. Membership in the Academy of Homiletics is open to teachers and doctoral graduate students of homiletics.

AN ANNOUNCEMENT FROM SOCIETAS HOMILETICA AND THE ACADEMY OF HOMILETICS:
I am sorry to say that during the last business meeting of the Academy of Homiletics, I shared the WRONG DATES for the next meeting of the Societas Homiletica (the international, biannual gathering of homileticians): SH will meet on JULY 25-30, 2014, in southern India (near Madurai) and NOT June 25-30, 2014 (as I originally announced). I apologize for my error and hope that you will join us in southern India in the summer of 2014!
