2009 Academy of Homiletics President, Joseph Webb, assembled a panel discussion of the state of publishing in homiletics.  Panel members included Academy Members with a successful record of publishing:

Teresa Fry Brown, Associate Professor of Homiletics and Director of Black Church Studies at Candler School of Theology.

Susan Hedahl, Herman G. Stuempfle Professor of Proclamation of the Word, Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg.

Tom Long, Bandy Professor of Preaching, Candler School of Theology.

Alyce McKenzie, Professor of Homiletics, Perkins School of Theology. 

These Academy Members were joined by three editors of major publishing houses:

John Berquist, Executive Editor, Biblical Studies, Westminster John Knox Press.

David Lott, Editor, Fortress Press.

Robert Ratcliff, Senior Editor, Abingdon Press.
